My Business Journey began with Skippy...
My rescue Boxer Skippy was diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease in 2018; six months after adopting him from rescue and I was advised that he needed invasive investigatory surgery. I felt there must be other ways of seeing what was causing the Inflammatory Bowel Disease and I got in touch with a Holistic Vet ‘Vince The Vet’. He advised me to get Skippy screened for parasites and to have a food sensitivites and intolerance test done after the autoimmune condition tests came back negative. It turned out Skippy is allergic to 19 out of 24 main base foods tested. With a strict food plan and supporting supplementary products and seven months down the line Skippy was in remission from Inflammatory Bowel Disease, was free from a lifetime of taking drugs for the condition and he never needed the surgery proposed!
Thus, I wanted to bring this advice and alternative complementary enrichment products to the masses as often people cannot find them on the ‘high street’ and/or sometimes sadly, they are found when it is just too late.
Many of the products are supportive and thus can and should be used before a condition arises; for example, products that support the joints. I hear of so many animals with Arthritis these days. Instead of treating the symptoms once the animal has Arthritis why not support the body and specifically the joints at a younger age before your pet gets Arthritis?
The products are Quality, British and Ethical which is very important for my ethos of my brand. In my research, I found that many of these products also happen to be Locally produced in Dorset!

My Healing Journey began with Bruce...
Bruce passed in 2016, he was sick for months and I nursed him for 4 months until he just couldn't go on anymore. He passed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and I knew it was not right and that his Conventional Allopathic Veterinary treatment failed him.
This led me to study alternative, natural ways of healing. Bruce had always been a Healer himself naturally and I had taken him to a Nursing Home as a Therapy Dog, which he was amazing at. I have many stories about the impact he made.
My healer therapy teachers informed me that Bruce was showing me that I should be a Healer like him and he continues to support me all the way. With years of study and continued studying, as of April 2022 I am in the 3rd year of my business, Animal Health & Healing.
Two years after Bruce's passing, in 2018, I saw a young Boxer Dog at a local rescue centre/shelter. People had always asked whether I would get another Dog but I always said 'I am not actively looking; but if I get a sign then that is the time'.
The sign for me was that this local rescue centre NEVER had Boxer dogs, usually only Whippets, Lurchers, and Greyhounds. So my view is 'Once you've have a Boxer you'll always have a Boxer!
I visited this Boxer and on the 14th February 2018, he came home with me as my True Valentine with the name Skippy. Skippy had many health issues; Chronic Urinary Tract Infections and Ear Infections, which meant he was constantly on Antibiotics, which I knew were not good for him.
My 'intuition'* was that Chinese Meridians would help him (at this time I had not studied this medium) and I found out that the Urinary System and Ears are connected! With this information and other natural remedies, I healed him of these chronic conditions and he has never had an Antibiotic since!
*I believe some of my intuition is Bruce helping me to identify with the healing and I have worked with others who state that when I say I am not sure if I am correct in my intuition/download information, Bruce has barked for them to say 'yes Charlotte you are correct'!
I am now an Animal Communicator as this intuition allows me to communicate with all Animals.
My biggest challenge was in September 2018 when Skippy suddenly became sick; he was vomiting exactly the same way as Bruce did and my Heart sank.
I took him to the vet and I was told that I caught it early and I said well yes I was all too familiar with it. The Conventional Allopathic Vets informed me that they would have to open Skippy up from chest to stomach for investigation surgery. I asked what would be the outcome when they opened him up and they said there was no guarantee of anything, and that the Inflammatory Bowel Disease cannot be cured/healed and he would be on a lifetime of drugs.
None of this made sense to me because dogs usually develop Inflammatory Bowel Disease in their later years like Bruce did when he was 10 years old; Skippy was ONLY 3 years old!
I said no to the Conventional Allopathic Medicine and found a Holistic Vet. Long story short as discussed in "My Business Journey with Skippy " he was allergic to 19 out of 24 food groups tested and within 7 months with a new prescribed food plan of Real, Fresh, Unprocessed, Home Cooked Wholefoods and Herbal supplements Skippy went into Remission and then cured/healed from Inflammatory Bowel Disease and he has not had a Flare-up of IBD in the 3 years.
All of this has led me to teach other pet parents food nutrition for their dogs and cats as well as other natural therapies.
It truly is as if Bruce sent Skippy to me so I could heal him in a way I couldn’t heal Bruce. It was as if it was redemption, as Skippy was unusually young to have IBD and I am forever thankful for Bruce coming into my life; teaching me I can be a Healer too, as he was, for him being my daily guide in healing others and for bringing Skippy into my life.
